Features and Benefits
The DVR Series offers a 150 kV and a 300 kV AC/DC model designed with precision resistor/capacitor networks that provide low voltage outputs proportional to the applied high voltage input. Their 1000:1 and 10,000:1 ratios (respectively) extend the measurement capability of most digital voltmeters and oscilloscopes to 150,000 V or 300,000 V.
The dividers include a switchable low-end impedance to match various metering inputs. Both are suited for waveshape/harmonic analysis using a standard oscilloscope and can be used to measure DC multiplier circuits or AC transformers, limited only by the digital voltmeter (DVM) connected as the metering device.
They are not designed for impulse or square wave applications.

Models
The DVR-150 and the DVR-300 are dividers only. Neither model includes a metering instrument. The user can connect virtually any commonly used modern digital or analog metering device designed to accept the dividers’ output.
DVR-150 - 1-150 KV AC/DC DIVIDER
The DVR-150 is HVI’s 150 kV precision divider that functions as a probe for your oscilloscope or multimeter. Designed with a precision resistor / capacitor network, it provides a low voltage output signal proportional to the applied high voltage. The low-end impedance is switch selectable between 1 MOhm and 10 MOhm, to match your measuring device. Suitable for DC or AC (up to 1 kHz sinusoidal) measurements. Perfect for in-house high voltage calibrations, no external power source required. This divider is not designed for impulse or square wave applications. A reusable shipping case is an available option for the DVR-150.

The DVR-300 is HVI’s 300 kV precision divider that functions as a probe for your oscilloscope or multimeter.
